Sport-Health

The crux of the issue: 95% of the adult French population is at risk of deteriorating health due to lack of physical activity or prolonged sitting.

These risks are heightened when lack of physical activity and excess sedentary behavior are combined, leading to what we commonly refer to as Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) (e.g., lower back pain, thoracic pain, etc.).

Regarding sedentary behavior, spending more than 8 hours a day in a seated position poses a health risk. Adults with low levels of education and those under 45 are the most affected.

For healthy individuals as part of primary prevention or for those living with a chronic (non-communicable) disease, engaging in physical or sports activities helps maintain health and improves health status, while also preventing the exacerbation and/or recurrence of these chronic diseases.

Physiotherapists at Eviva Health's home physiotherapy clinic have developed specific programs that allow for both preventive and active work, for a dual impact.

  • Preventive: Through educational work, informing about the origins and risks associated with MSDs and sedentary behavior.

  • Active: Through dynamic exercises, easily reproducible independently at home.
